Ohio officials are collaborating with the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association to improve behavioral health services in Montgomery County, the Dayton Daily News reported Jan. 9.
The area's emergency departments have seen a 26 percent increase in patients with mental health issues, the Montgomery County Commission told the Dayton Daily News.
The groups intend to meet with behavioral health treatment providers for insight on their most significant challenges and needs, then will make a plan to improve services, the publication reported.
