Cara McNulty, DPA, CVS Health's president of mental health and well-being, plans to step down from her role.
In a May 8 LinkedIn post, Dr. McNulty said her time as the company's top behavioral health leader is coming to a close.
Dr. McNulty has led CVS Health's mental health efforts since 2019. She previously held roles at Willis Towers Watson Health and Benefits as well as Target, according to her LinkedIn page.
In her post, Dr. McNulty did not specify her last day with CVS or her next move.
"As for what is next, until we no longer face barriers that prevent us from talking about, finding, and delivering exceptional mental health care I will keep using my voice to amplify innovative solutions and help remove stigma in order to continue to advance this field," Dr. McNulty said.
CVS Health has made several moves in the behavioral health space in recent years, including launching new virtual behavioral services and investing in community mental health screenings.
