Washington behavioral health center breaks ground

Compass Health has broken ground on a behavioral health facility in Everett, Wash.

This move marks the second phase of Compass' Broadway Campus Redevelopment, according to an Oct. 12 news release. The three-phase project aims to develop a regional center that will offer the full continuum of primary and behavioral healthcare and permanent supportive housing services.

The 70,000-square-foot facility is expected to treat roughly 1,300 patients annually and will include a 16-bed evaluation and treatment unit, a 16-bed crisis triage center, intensive outpatient behavioral health services and offices for crisis prevention, outreach and community engagement teams.

Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
