National Autism Data Registry launches to measure quality of care

The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence launched the National Autism Data Registry, an online platform designed to allow providers and payers to measure and benchmark quality of care for its patients with autism spectrum disorder.

The NADR will track and report on the quality of applied behavioral analysis treatment across process, structure, cost and outcome measures, according to a Nov. 7 news release from the organization. It will also contribute to the efforts of creating standardized national benchmarks for outcomes.

Founding members of the registry include Hopebridge, Acorn Health, the Center for Social Dynamics, Proud Moments, JumpStart Autism Center and Ascend Behavior Partners, which collectively represent 16,000 patients across 24 states.
