Behavioral health startup Heard gained $10 million in series A funding, GeekWire reported May 6.
Heard helps mental health practices manage bookkeeping, payroll and other administrative services, the report said. Therapists can sign up for $149 per month, and group practices for $249 per month, with discounted yearly subscriptions for both.
"Every hour that a therapist spends wrangling finances is an hour they're not making money or doing work that fulfills and energizes them," CEO Andrew Riesen said May 5.
The startup landed $1.3 million in funding in 2021.
