Delaware health department partners with Findhelp to connect residents with mental health services

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services' Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health has awarded a contract to software company Findhelp to connect residents with substance use disorder and mental health services.

Findhelp connects individuals in need of social care services with providers through a closed-loop referral system that protects their privacy, according to a Nov. 2 press release from the company. Findhelp already works with 2,623 listed programs serving Delaware and has been used by nearly 98,000 users in the state to conduct 405,000 searches for health services.

Through the partnership, Findhelp will work with DSAMH and Bamboo Health to provide end-to-end search and referral software to 30,000 Delaware residents who rely on DSAMH for substance use disorder and mental health services, the release said.

The state's new system, which is called DTRN360, will be developed and deployed by Bamboo Health over the next 6 months, updating the existing Delaware Treatment and Referral Network to better serve residents.
