CVS Health to give $1.5M to bring mental healthcare to underserved populations

CVS Health will donate $1.5 million to increase the availability of mental health providers and services in medically underserved areas in 25 states.

The company gave the funding to nonprofit healthcare organization the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics to add more than 250 mental health clinicians capable of serving more than 50,000 patients each year, according to an Aug. 26 news release from CVS.
