Digital mental health for students company lands $30M

Uwill, a teletherapy platform for college students, raised $30 million in series A financing.

Founded in 2020, the company works to match college students with therapists and provide teletherapy services. Uwill has partnered with 150 colleges, according to a May 2 Uwill news release.

Education Growth Partners funded the investment.

"We have been particularly impressed by the company's ability to work collaboratively with college leaders and existing mental health support to fill unmet needs on campus. Uwill's solution offers high value to colleges and, most importantly, to students at a time when mental health is of paramount importance," Andy Kaplan, managing general partner at EGP, said in the release. "The astounding impact and growth that Uwill has achieved in a short period of time cannot be overstated."
