Warriors Heart, a recovery and rehabilitation center, has opened in Milford, Va., The Culpeper Star Exponent reported Sept. 23.
The 60-bed facility is focused on providing care for active-duty personnel, veterans and first responders with addiction or dependency issues. It will also include treatment programs for psychological disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder and mild traumatic brain injury.
The 500-acre property is the second Warriors Heart location, with the first opening in 2016 in Bandera, Texas, and featuring more than double the number of beds as the Virginia location.
