Madera Behavioral Health gets $25M grant

Madera County Behavioral Health Services has been named the recipient of a nearly $25 million grant to support the Madera County Youth/Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit and the Adult Sobering Center project, according to a July 6 report from The Business Journal.

MCBHS is one of 30 recipients of funding from the California Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program grant, which gave over $430 million to organizations across the state.

It has also received nearly $3 million from the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing program, which the organization is planning to use to lease 20 housing units for program participants who are either currently homeless or are at risk of homelessness.
