Behavioral health facility to open in Georgia

River Edge Behavioral Health is demolishing a shopping complex to make way for a new behavioral health center and outpatient clinic in Macon, Ga.

The facility will offer comprehensive adult behavioral health outpatient and substance use disorder services, according to a Jan. 29 news release. It will also include child and adolescent services.

The shopping plaza currently includes 74,000 square feet of buildings across 6 acres, with demolition scheduled to begin in July. Construction on the new facility is slated to start in September, with estimated completion by December 2025.
