6 new behavioral health centers in 10 days

Here are six behavioral health center openings and groundbreakings that Becker’s has reported on since Oct. 31:

  1. The University of North Carolina opened UNC Hospitals Youth Behavioral Health in Butner, N.C.
  2. Owensboro, Ky.-based RiverValley Behavioral Health officially opened RVBH@The Crowne in Owensboro.
  3. Oklahoma City-based OU Health broke ground on a new behavioral health facility in the city.
  4. George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., opened a new facility for its Center for Community Mental Health and Center for Evidence-Based Behavioral Health.
  5. Greenville, N.C.-based ECU Health and Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare broke ground on a behavioral health hospital in Greenville.
  6. Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock (Ark.) opened a new behavioral health unit.
