Oklahoma City-based OU Health has broken ground on a new behavioral health facility in the city, ABC affiliate KOCO reported Nov. 1.
The facility, which will be built next to Oklahoma Children's Hospital at OU Health, will offer inpatient and outpatient services for patients with behavioral and mental health needs in a setting designed around family participation and healing.
The facility will be the first in the state to be part of a comprehensive children's hospital, the report said.
