Stacy Brooks Whatley was appointed chief communications and marketing officer of the American Counseling Association.
Ms. Whatley has more than 20 years of communications experience and previously served as the director of marketing and communications for the American Physiological Society, according to a Jan. 25 news release from the association.
The American Counseling Association and its 54,000 members aim to promote the development of counselors and advocate for providers and those in need of counseling services.
