HRSA puts $2.5M into California mental health, primary care integration program

The Health Resources and Services Administration awarded $2.5 million to the Charles Drew University College of Medicine in Los Angeles to support the integration of mental healthcare into primary care training. 

The university plans to use the funds to add behavioral health training to its family medicine residency, its psychiatry residency and its physician assistant program, according to a Jan. 24 news release from the agency.
