UPMC hospital snags grant to expand telehealth services

Health plan Univera Healthcare awarded a grant to Jamestown, N.Y.-based UPMC Chautauqua to expand its behavioral telehealth services, The Post-Journal reported May 30.

The program will focus on providing services to underserved patients, such as those without access to the internet or transportation.

The health plan invited Western New York-based nonprofit healthcare organizations to apply for the grant to help fund programs aiming to improve health equity.
