The Right Help, Right Now plan includes continuing to grow the state’s 988 suicide and crisis lifeline system, launching a behavioral health reserve corps of volunteers and expanding school-based mental health services, according to a Dec. 14 news release.

Mr. Youngkin also announced the state’s youth mental health strategy, which aims to address the components and harmful aspects of social media on youth mental health across the state through legislation and executive action.
