The University of Colorado Denver has launched a training program to prepare mental health providers to use “psychedelic-facilitation skills” in various clinical settings.
The 16-week, two-course series includes weekly self-paced online learning modules and scheduled virtual classroom meetings twice per week, according to the program’s webpage. It also offers hybrid opportunities for in-person or virtual instruction.
Graduates of the program may work with state-approved practicum partners and can be ready to apply for state licensure in under six months, according to the university.
