Demand for behavioral health care has dramatically increased since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Trilliant Health report.

York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health is expanding access to behavioral health crisis services in two of the state's counties in April.

Montana was named the best state for physicians to practice in 2023, according to financial website WalletHub's annual list. 

Behavioral health is projected to be one of the fastest-growing areas in healthcare, by market value, over the next few years. Those projections may fall short, however, if issues like workforce shortages aren't addressed.
