The grant will go toward the NC System of Care, which connects residents with “high-fidelity wraparound” services that support children and families before, during and after a crisis, according to an Oct. 5 news release.

Funding  will go toward initiatives that focus on increasing the utilization of existing services, reducing the need for emergency department visits and residential treatment by both improving the existing program and growing it into new counties across North Carolina.
