The $140 million facility is estimated to be the largest private investment in mental healthcare in the history of the state and aims to be a “one-stop shop” for mental health needs in the city, according to a June 8 news release.

The center will offer an intensive outpatient program, partial hospitalization program and one of the state’s first intensive crisis residences — a program in a home-like setting for people experiencing acute mental health crises that do not require hospitalization.
