Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Philadelphia, Pa.-based Jefferson Health, and King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services have completed a joint behavioral health hospital in the Lehigh Valley.
The new facility, Hanover Hill Behavioral Health, is a three-story, 144-bed hospital located across from Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg in Hanover Township, Pa., according to a Dec. 8 news release. It will provide inpatient behavioral healthcare for adolescents, adults and seniors.
The hospital’s design was informed by evidence-based treatment models. It will open for patient care in early 2026, according to the release.
Hanover Hill Behavioral Health will employ more than 300 full-time professionals, including nurses, therapists, technicians and administrative staff.
