Latino Behavioral Health Services has opened a new facility in Salt Lake City that will nearly double the number of clients the organization previously had the capacity to serve in Utah, KSL reported Sept. 10.
Latino Behavioral Health offers a variety of mental health services for patients in the Latino community, including counseling, peer support groups and classes taught in English, Spanish and Portuguese, for both children and adults.
The new facility is more than double the size of the previous space, with increased rooms that allow behavioral health providers to offer different services simultaneously. It also features two living room areas as well as a kitchen and dining room table for patients to connect with each other, the report said.
