The center, which has primarily served teenagers for almost two decades, will be converting 40 beds for adult patients and leaving 24 beds for its teen program. It will also update various teen rooms into adult-friendly areas, including living areas and private bedrooms.

The new adult residential program expects to predominantly serve young adults in their 20s and 30s, the report said.
