Pensacola, Fla.-based Baptist Hospital is planning a $30 million behavioral health unit, Pensacola News Journal reported May 9.

The 50,000-square-foot facility will be built as part of a new campus the hospital is developing, the report said. It will include 72 beds, with 36 allocated for adult patients, 10 for older adults, 14 for adolescents and 12 for children.

The facility is designed for inpatient care but not long-term care, the report said. It is expected to open in the fall of 2023.
