Tempe, Ariz.-based Crisis Preparation and Recovery is closing its outpatient programs.
The center will lay off 73 employees as part of the closure, according to a WARN notice filed May 6.
Crisis Preparation and Recovery’s outpatient counseling and psychiatric medication management services will close May 23, according to a May 5 news release from the behavioral health provider posted on LinkedIn. It will continue to offer several other behavioral health services, including 24/7 crisis response and stabilization.
The decision to close the outpatient services followed an “extensive evaluation of financial and operational sustainability amid rapidly changing healthcare landscapes,” according to the release.
