Phoenix-based Connections Health Solutions will operate the center, according to a July 22 news release from Montgomery County. Connections Health Solutions operates crisis centers in five states.

The center will offer immediate care for children and adults experiencing behavioral health emergencies. The center is part of Montgomery County’s larger strategy to keep individuals with mental health conditions from entering the justice system, according to the release.

Montgomery County, located outside of Philadelphia, is the third largest county in Pennsylvania.

The center is expected to open in the fall of 2025.
