The unified agency, which does not yet have a name, will offer both mental health and substance use disorder services with roughly 425 staff members and an estimated annual budget of $45 million, according to a Jan. 11 news release.
The two Lorain, Ohio-based agencies have partnered on the Lorain County Crisis Receiving Center, the construction on which began in December and is expected to open in 2025.
Nord Center CEO Don Schiffbauer will serve as the united agency’s CEO while LCADA Way President and CEO Dan Haight will serve as COO, the release said.
