New York is the most expensive state for average therapy fees, according to a study by behavioral health site Zencare. Iowa sits at the other end of the spectrum.
Alaska comes in as the second-most expensive, and four of the top 10 are in the Northeast region. Seven states have average fees of $200 or higher per visit, and only five have fees of $150 or lower.
