With TikTok the second-most popular app for those under 35 years old, healthcare organizations are gravitating to the social media platform to develop their brands and communicate messages in a way that resonates better with younger patients.

Only 58 percent of psychiatrists said they were happy outside of work, compared to 82 percent before the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Medscape's "Psychiatrist Lifestyle, Happiness & Burnout Report 2023," released Feb. 24.

Fifty-one percent of hospitalists reported feeling very happy or somewhat happy away from work, compared to 83 percent before the pandemic, according to a survey published Feb. 22 by Medscape.
