Illinois county to add behavioral health workers in 10 public housing communities

The Housing Authority of Cook County in Illinois has placed behavioral health workers in 10 public housing communities, Fox 32 reported May 17.

The county, which includes Chicago, is using American Rescue Plan Act funds to support this action. 

The workers will provide behavioral and physical health services as well as referrals to individuals living in these communities.
