The grants were made possible through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Health Resources and Services Administration and the Administration for Children and Families, according to a Sept. 25 news release.
The awards include $131.7 million in grant programs to connect youth and families to behavioral health services, $55 million to expand access to mental health care for young people in schools and $20 million to improve mental health services provided to children in the child welfare system.
