William Morrone, DO, medical director and principal for Bay City, Mich.-based Recovery Pathways, has launched a campaign for Michigan State Senate.

Dr. Morrone’s platform centers on affordability, infrastructure and healthcare reform, according to his campaign website. His priorities include lowering costs, fixing roads, supporting unions and working families, and building a healthcare system that addresses the full scope of patient needs. He cited firsthand knowledge of how systemic issues — from healthcare to housing — affect Michigan families.

Dr. Morrone served patients in Arenac, Bay, Midland and Tuscola Counties for more than two decades, with clinical experience in family medicine, substance use disorder treatment and rural health.
