Motivo names chief business officer

Jon Stout has been appointed chief business officer of Motivo, a clinical supervision platform that connects therapists with virtual clinical supervisors to complete the therapist licensure process.

In this role, Mr. Stout will work to develop Motivo’s strategic direction, revenue growth, user engagement and market expansion in the mental health sector, according to an Oct. 2 news release.

Mr. Stout most recently served as a venture partner at Optum Ventures, the investment arm of UnitedHealth Group’s Optum. He also previously served as chief growth officer at virtual behavioral health company AbleTo.
