Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health has named Nicki Tessler, PsyD, as president of Lifepoint Behavioral Health.
Dr. Tessler most recently served as CEO and co-founder of BeMe Health, a digital behavioral health provider for teenagers and young adults, according to a June 30 news release. She was previously divisional vice president for behavioral health at King of Prussia,Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
Lifepoint Behavioral Health operates 26 behavioral health hospitals. Lifepoint operates joint ventures with several health systems, including Tampa (Fla.) General, Cincinnati-based Mercy Health and Indianapolis-based Community Health Network.
