American Addiction Centers expands leadership

American Addiction Centers made three leadership changes, adding mental health leaders Shelley Plemons, Tikisha Ousley and Joy Sutton to its executive team.

Ms. Plemons, who was named senior vice president of strategy and growth, has more than 30 years of industry experience, most recently serving as a behavioral health consultant, according to a July 25 news release from the organization. In her new role, she will oversee strategic partnerships, veterans affairs and business development.

Ms. Ousley, who was appointed AAC’s vice president of organizational development, most recently served at New Season, a substance use treatment group, the release said. She has more than 18 years of healthcare marketing and communications experience.

Ms. Sutton was promoted to vice president of brand and communications, according to the release. She has been with the organization since 2016 and is the host of AAC’s award-winning podcast, “Addiction Talk.”
