The American Hospital Association's Committee on Behavioral Health has selected a new chair, chair-elect and committee members for 2023.
Matthew Stanley, DO, vice president of the behavioral health clinical service line for Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health, is the 2023 chair of AHA's committee, according to a Jan. 4 press release from the organization.
Jill Howard, RN, assistant vice president of behavioral health for Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health, will serve as the 2023 chair-elect.
Arpan Waghray, MD, CEO of mental health foundation Well-Being Trust, will serve as the 2023 past-chair.
New committee members include:
- Nathaniel Clark, MD, chief medical officer and behavioral health chief of staff for Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center
- Beth Heinz, service line executive of mental health and addiction services for Minneapolis-based M Health Fairview
- Garrett Hoover, president and chief operating officer for Westminster, Md.-based Carroll Hospital and senior vice president for Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health
- Tracey Lavallias, executive director of the behavioral health service line for Lancaster (Pa.) General Health
- Tamara Player, CEO of Prescott Valley, Ariz.-based Polara Health
- Jesse Tamplen, vice president of behavioral health services for Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health.
