9 behavioral health leadership moves in January

From new CEOs to medical directors, here are nine behavioral health leadership moves that Becker's has covered in January:

  1. Mary Anne Albaugh, MD, was appointed medical director of Dickinson Center in Ridgway, Pa., an affiliate of Journey Health System.
  2. James Lehane retired from his role as president and CEO of Middletown, R.I.-based Newport Mental Health, with Dayna Gladstein appointed as his replacement.
  3. Raymond Kotwicki, MD, was appointed president and chief medical officer of intensive outpatient services for Atlanta-based behavioral health provider Hightop Health.
  4. Minneapolis-based Meridian Behavioral Health, which provides substance use disorder treatment services, named Lewis Zeidner, PhD, its new CEO.
  5. Beau Lynch was appointed CEO of Conway (Ark.) Behavioral Health Hospital, which is under Acadia Healthcare.
  6. Michelle Shafer was appointed CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based Mental Health Cooperative.
  7. Justin Looser was named CEO of Hampstead (N.H.) Hospital & Residential Treatment Facility.
  8. Ave Marie Costa was appointed director of development of the Gateway Foundation, a substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment organization.
  9. Cathy Lovejoy was appointed CEO of behavioral health and housing services provider Lakeview Health Services.
