Former UHS behavioral health executive joins Radiology Partners

Radiology Partners has named Matt Peterson president of RP Clinical Services and Krishna Nallamshetty, MD, chief operating officer of RP Clinical Services, effective July 20.

Mr. Peterson will oversee strategy and execution across the organization’s national clinical services business, according to a July 20 news release. The physician-led radiology practice serves more than 3,400 hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the U.S. He previously served as executive vice president and president of behavioral health services at King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.

Dr. Nallamshetty will assume the COO role full time after serving as interim COO since December. He also will serve as interim chief medical officer while RP Clinical Services searches for a permanent CMO. In the role, he will oversee operational execution across the organization and align clinical strategy with enterprise performance.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Radiology Partners said the appointments are part of a broader effort to strengthen its operating model.
