7 behavioral health leadership moves to know

Here are seven behavioral health leadership moves to know that Becker's has reported on so far in March:

  1. Richard Leclerc was approved as the new director of the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals.
  2. Mary Pawlikowski, the president of Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., and Vanderbilt Behavioral Health, announced plans to retire at the end of the fiscal year.
  3. Teresa DeLuca, MD, joined the board of directors for LifeStance Health, a nationwide provider of virtual and in-person outpatient mental healthcare for all ages across 33 states.
  4. Katie Gregory was appointed vice president of business development of Centered Health, a network of mental health treatment centers across Southern California.
  5. Brad Smith, MD, was named chief medical officer of Oconomowoc, Wis.-based Rogers Behavioral Health. 
  6. Rogers Behavioral Health also named Ashley Muchnick COO. 
  7. Emily Sexton, MSN, RN, was appointed CEO of Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital, a collaboration between Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare and Detroit-based Henry Ford Health.
