UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh has partnered with UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital to open its second walk-in clinic for children and teens.

The UPMC Children’s South Pediatric Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic in Bridgeville offers same-day care for individuals up to age 18, without the need for an appointment, according to a Nov. 10 news release. Children and teens accompanied by a parent or guardian can receive a behavioral health assessment, one-time intervention and referrals to additional resources.

The system also operates a clinic at the main hospital in Lawrenceville, according to the news release.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
