New York City-based online behavioral healthcare company Talkspace posted double-digit revenue growth in the second quarter of 2025, fueled by continued strength in its payer business.
Here are five things to know from the company’s Aug. 5 earnings release:
- Talkspace reported $54.3 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2025, an 18% year-over-year increase.
- Payer revenue grew 35% year over year, offsetting a 32% drop in consumer revenue. The company completed 385,100 payer sessions in the quarter, up 29% from 2024.
- Net loss was $500,000, on par with that of the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $2.3 million from $1.2 million.
- The company ended the quarter with $54.3 million in cash and equivalents and $48.4 million in short-term marketable securities. It repurchased $1.4 million in shares during the period.
- Talkspace expects 2025 revenue between $220 million and $235 million and adjusted EBITDA of $14 million to $20 million.
