Hanover, N.H.-based Better Life Partners joined the Burlington, Mass.-based Groups care network, expanding the range of addiction treatment services available through the combined organizations.
The partnership broadens access to care with same- or next-day medication for opioid use disorder, treatment and support for alcohol use disorder and other substance use disorders, and group therapy offered on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedules, according to a July 23 news release from Better Life.
Members also will have access to Virtual Responsive Care for clinical support between appointments, psychiatric medication management, treatment for common medical conditions, and both in-person care at Groups’ offices and telehealth services.
The organizations said the partnership combines Better Life Partners’ community-based care model with Groups’ clinical resources to improve access to addiction treatment across New England. Cooper Zelnick, CEO of Groups, said the partnership expands services for members while increasing access to care, according to the release.
