Cortica nabs $75M in funding round with Optum

Pediatric behavioral health company Cortica closed a $75 million funding round led by Optum Ventures and Deerfield Management.

The company also acquired Trumbull, Conn.-based Springtide Child Development, according to an April 18 news release. It also acquired the Melmed Center in Scottsdale, Ariz.

With the most recent transactions, Cortica owns and operates 23 integrated autism centers across the nation, according to the release. Its ranks include 1,600 employees.
