Kansas City, Kan.-based Wyandot Behavioral Health Network will open its downtown wellness center March 9, expanding access to mental healthcare and substance use services in Eastern Wyandotte County.
The center will offer outpatient mental healthcare, substance use treatment, medication services and housing support services, according to a Feb. 17 news release from the system.
Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System will operate an addiction program within the building as part of a partnership with Wyandot Behavioral Health Network.
The facility is designed to serve as a central resource for residents and workers in downtown Kansas City, with a focus on early support, recovery services and connections to community resources.
