Ballad Health opens 24-hour behavioral health center in Tennessee

Ballad Health has opened a 24-hour center at the Woodridge psychiatric hospital in Johnson City, Tenn., according to a Feb. 6 report from WJHL News.

The center, which had a soft opening in December, will provide inpatient and outpatient mental health services to children, adults and seniors in the area. The clinic has already treated 100 patients since its soft opening.

Ballad Health serves patients in 29 counties throughout the Appalachian highlands, according to its website. Its system includes 21 hospitals and post-acute care and behavioral health services, along with a multispecialty group physician practice.
