The 100,000-square-foot facility is owned by the Southcentral Foundation, which provides healthcare to the Alaska Native population.

The building will replace a 22-bed detox facility at the site. The new facility, slated to open in 2026, will have 30 detox beds, a 16-bed adult crisis stabilization unit and expanded outpatient services, the report said.
