The report pulled data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health and includes binge drinking, illicit drug use and misuse of prescription drugs under substance use.

The report found that sexual minority adults were more likely than straight adults to have had a substance use disorder, with one-third of bisexual men, bisexual women and gay men reporting having an SUD in the last year. Meanwhile, one-fourth of lesbian women reported having an SUD.
