Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Priority Health, a nonprofit health plan serving 1.3 million members, has added Boulder Care to its behavioral health provider network.

Boulder Care is a telehealth addiction medicine provider offering virtual, value-based care, according to a Sept. 19 news release shared with Becker’s. As of Jan. 1, 2026, the service will be available to all commercial group members ages 18 and older. The partnership aims to expand access to multidisciplinary support for substance use disorder, including care from clinicians, nurses, peer recovery specialists, case managers, care navigators and care advocates.

Priority Health said the addition aligns with its whole-person care model and comes amid National Recovery Month. More than 1.5 million people in Michigan live with substance use disorder and 1 in 4 people nationally who need treatment do not receive it, according to the news release.
