West Virginia is the state with the most drug related deaths, while Nebraska has the fewest, according to data published by the United Health Foundation Dec. 5.
The data compares the number of deaths due to drug injury (unintentional, suicide, homicide or undetermined) per 100,000 people over the last year. The rate for the U.S. as a whole is 32.1 per 100,000 people.
